A No-jito (AIP/Paleo) is a non-alcoholic version of a mojito. Enjoy this refreshing drink with flavors of lime and mint without the inflammatory alcohol!

SURPRISE! Just for funsies, I’m sending you a bonus drink recipe! My friends, behold THE NO-JITO. It has all the refreshing aspects of a mojito with lime and mint, but without the inflammatory side effects.
Avoiding alcohol
It can be hard to avoid alcohol when everyone else seems to be having a good time with it, but boy, alcohol can be a big ol’ inflammation bomb. Having a few drink recipes in your back pocket can be helpful. No one has to know that your drink is dry.
Something I really like to do is to serve myself a mocktail in a pretty glass with all the garnishes. (I can’t remember where I got these particular glasses, but these Cosmopolitan Martini Glasses are similar.) There’s no reason whatsoever that a dry drink has to be boring! Make it beautiful. Enjoy the experience. Make it a treat. In this way, you may not feel quite so deprived.
And hey, you’ll also be avoiding all the nasty side effects, e.g. headache, belly ache, joint aches, or sleepless nights. Just a lovely, refreshing drink. Ahhhhh… 😌

Other mocktails
Want some other mocktail recipes? I have just added a “Drinks” category to my Recipe Index! Woot! 🙌🏻 You can choose from several there, but here are some summer drinks I really like:
- No-alcohol Moscow Mule
- Watermelon Limeade
- Iced Vanilla Latte (OK, that one’s not a mocktail, but it’s fun for summer!)
Enjoy your lovely No-jito. As always, I’m wishing you great love and deep healing!

Wendi

We LOVED this drink! Went perfect with taco Tuesday! I really liked that it was easy enough for my son to help with!
WONDERFUL! I’m happy to hear it. Thank you for taking the time to write! 😀
