This Watermelon Limeade (AIP/Paleo) is refreshing, sparkly and best of all, not too sweet. Perfect for long, hot summer days!

I’ll admit it. I love me a glass of wine in the evening right before dinner. The thing is, my body does NOT appreciate this. In fact, I have found that I am pretty sensitive to alcohol. Oooof. 😣 Joint pain, puffiness, and insomnia. This is not to say that I never imbibe. I just know what I’m getting myself into!

I still want to have a fun, tasty drink before dinner, though. Don’t you? 😀 If so, we are in luck. I’ve noticed an interesting trend… In my city, some establishments now offer intriguing mocktail options. There’s even a dry Meetup group in my city! And why not? Why can’t drink recipes be as creative and fun as food recipes?
Enter Watermelon Limeade! It’s fun. It’s tasty. Kids can have it, too! And it’s not too sweet. I don’t know about you, but I don’t care for a liquid lollipop. You’ll find this drink teetering precariously on the line between sweet and tart. If you want more sweetness, add more honey to the syrup.
Need more non-alcoholic drink ideas? There are more drink recipes on my blog. (See Three Mocktails. I comically made all three in a minute (really!) in this video.)
Happy, happy summer, everybody! As always, I’m wishing you great love and deep healing!

Wendi
